We live-stream our 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday morning through our Facebook page. While watching on the internet or TV is not the same as physically attending Mass, if you cannot attend due to health concerns, please join us for the live-streamed Mass.
Spiritual Communion is a practice of desiring union with Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. It may be used by those who cannot receive Holy Communion at Mass.
An Outline for Spiritual Communion:
1. Sing with/listen to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vL6zvsRxpMo or another Eucharistic hymn;
2. Read the readings of the day, which you can find at http://usccb.org (click on the appropriate day on the calendar on the right);
3. Pray the Act of Spiritual Communion (https://www.ewtn.com/catholicism/devotions/act-of-spiritual-communion-339)
You can do this especially at the time for Mass on any day of the week
Prayer for Spirtual Communion
My Jesus,
I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love you above all things,
and I desire to receive you into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive you sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace you as if you were already there
and unite myself wholly to you.
Never permit me to be separated from you again.
Amen.
